Beaches at Valamar Camping Lanterna
The coast of Valamar Camping Lanterna is 3 km long, so you can rest assured you'll always find a place for yourself. The beaches are mostly pebbly and rocky, with natural shade provided by pines and oaks, and offer fantastic views of Novigrad and the mouth of the River Mirna. One part of Kras Beach has been made suitable for guests with disabilities. Pet owners have at their disposal two dedicated dog beaches (one part of Kras Beach and a beach in Tar Bay).

Val Adria Sandy Family beach
Location: between Sunce Beach and Romana Beach

Val Adria Sandy Family beach is ideal for families with small children because of its sand and gentle entrance into the sea. Because of its premium details like top-quality equipment and attentive service, it's one of the best Valamar beaches and has the Val quality label.
On this 200-metre-long sandy beach, you can rent a sun lounger and umbrella, and have a refreshing drink on the terrace of the nearby beach bar. While your children are having a great time in the sea in the inflatable water park, you can relax in the well-deserved peaceful atmosphere.

Val Marbello Family beach
Location: at Marbello Village

This stunning pebbly beach has the Val quality label and is located in Tar Bay in Marbello Village. In addition to a fantastic ambience and view of the mouth of the River Mirna, the beach offers a great combination of relaxing, recreational and fun options, ranging from massages in the open air to water sports and a floating platform with a slide in the sea.

Location: Glamping Village in the most eastern part of the campsite

Relax in one of the most beautiful locations in the campsite, and one which proudly carries the Val quality label. At the Glamping Village in Tar Bay, you'll find a beach with sandy, pebbly and rocky areas. The choice of the best spot to enjoy the sunshine is entirely yours! There's also a grassy area at the back of the beach for those who prefer greenery. While you're observing the sea and the picturesque mouth of the River Mirna on the other side of the shore, your kids can play in the shallows or on the nearby children's playground.

Sunce Beach
Location: westernmost part of the campsite

Sunce Beach is located at the westernmost part of the campsite. It's 350 m long and features fine pebbles and rocks. The pine trees above the beach offer plenty of shade.
Guests can rent a sun lounger and umbrella and enjoy the clear sea and view of Novigrad. Water sport enthusiasts shouldn't miss out on the exciting options available in the Valeta sports centre, which is only 50 m away in the Valamar Tamaris Resort.

Romana Beach
Location: between Val Adria Sand Family Beach and Kras Beach, beneath the main pool

The pebbly and rocky Romana Beach is located between Val Adria Sandy Family and Kras Beaches, close to the main pool. The beach is partly paved and offers visitors plenty of options for a fulfilling day by the sea.
In the sports centre, guests can choose a banana boat ride, parasailing and other water sports, while close to the centre there is a beach volleyball court.

Kras Beach is located between Romana Beach and Tar Bay close to the La Pentola Trattoria Italiana restaurant, the tennis courts, and the Teens Lounge. The beach features fine pebbles and rocks, and the large pines trees provide natural shade.
A designated part of the beach is completely suitable for people with disabilities. There is also a dedicated dog beach in a separate small cove.

Spend a pleasant day on the pebbly and rocky Tuna Bay Beach with its amenities located next to the Marbello Village in the eastern part of the campsite. Relax on a sun lounger while listening to the sound of the waves and afterwards try out some activities on the water. While your children are having fun in the inflatable water park, you can rent a pedal boat, beach canoe or SUP and explore the coast of the campsite from the sea. You won’t have to worry about food either, because there’s the Tuna Bay restaurant right next to the beach, which offers fantastic specialities.

Swimming pools in Valamar Camping Lanterna
After the addition of new pools and a sunbathing area, the Aquamar Lanterna family waterpark now covers a total area of more than 6,500 square metres, of which 1,500 square metres are water surfaces that include 10 pools. With a total of 16 pools in the entire campsite, our guests have plenty of entertainment and relaxation options to choose from!
When your kids jump into the world of fun water attractions in the family water park Aquamar Lanterna, they'll forget the world outside. An striking ship, water slides in different colours, and freshwater pools guarantee loads of fun during carefree summer days. And when the kids have had enough of the pool, they can play in the nearby Maro Club or on the playground. In the meantime, you can rent a sun lounger and umbrella, and have a refreshing drink and light snack on the terrace of the pool bar.
When you feel like enjoying magnificent sea views, go to the main pool next to Romana Beach. While your children explore the pool's attractions, you can enjoy a relaxing underwater massage.
In the glamping village, guests staying in glamping tents have a freshwater pool with sea view at their disposal. Maro Village guests can use the water playground with its pools, slides and water attractions.
